Christmas Services

Everyone is welcome at our Christmas services.  Perhaps you have come back to Monifieth to join family, or you are new to the area, or you have been intending to come to Church and haven't got round to it yet, or you used to be a regular at Church - whatever your background or your reasons, you are invited to join us to celebrate the birth of God's Son.

Christmas Fayre 2017

The annual Christmas Fayre was held on Saturday 18th November from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm in the Gerard Hall.
We had all the usual stalls - cake and candy, home-made preserves, bottle stall, crafts ... also tea and coffee and mince pies. It was also a great opportunity to catch up with friends.

Youth Group's Fundraising Breakfast

The Youth Group invites you to support its fundraising breakfast on Sunday 3rd December at 9.30 in the Gerard Hall.  Money is being raised to support former YG member Adam Thomson who is taking part in a sponsored cycle from Holyrood to Westminster, as part of the initiative (supported and encouraged by the Moderator of the General Assembly) to end homelessness in Scotland in the next 5 years.  Adam and friends will also participate in "Sleep in the Park" in Princes Street Gardens...

Bake and Book 2017 Extended Season

he Bake and Book Emporium will continue to be open through the summer months, provisionally now until the end of September.  So there will be lots more of everything:

  • bargains!
  • your unwanted items can find a (temporary!) home on our stalls
  • help - when we're open for business and/or on a Tuesday evening (7-8 pm) when we're open to receive donations

Monifieth Befriending Scheme Coffee Morning

The Befrienders are holding a coffee morning on Saturday 2nd September, from 10.00 am until 1.00 pm in the Gerard Hall.  There will also be a number of stalls, including home baking, jewellery, books and crafts, plus a raffle with lots of prizes, the main one being a 40 inch Smart Television.

Visit from our Mission Partner Kate McDonald

Article Date: 16th May 2017

Rev. Kate McDonald, minister of the Scots Kirk in Tiberias, Israel will be on deputation to Dundee Presbytery between 2nd and 13th June.

She will be participating in Second Sunday at Monifieth Parish Church on 11th June.
